Established in 1975 as a modest but efficient workshop, Barry Bangay began the journey of building the business we see today. The commitment to quality and good old fashioned service saw Barry Bangay Motors become one of the first RACV approved repairers in the country maintaining a growing clientele base including the Ringwood Police Station and South-East vehicle fleet.

In early 2004 after working alongside Barry for several years Joel Evans became the new owner when Barry decided to retire and venture into the next stage of his life. Joel took over the business with a promise to continue all the hard work which had been put in to building a dream.

Based in the heart of Ringwood the workshop is within walking distance of all public transport, Ringwood Centro, Ringwood market, Eastland shopping centre, and the soon to be completed Eastlink project, making it a perfect area for customers to come and have their vehicle repaired.

Today the business has grown not only in size but also in having the
reputation of being a leader in the industry. Offering one of the highest levels of workmanship and customer service to all its customers Barry Bangay Motors works hard to make sure they receive 100 percent satisfaction from their clients. This commitment to being the best in the industry has seen them receive numerous awards and recognition including: 2006 finalist in the Maroondah business excellence awards, and back to back winner of the Australian Achiever Award for outstanding customer service in 2005 and 2006.

Along with its commitment to customer service the business has the support from some of the biggest names in the automotive industry to help it have the edge on its competitors. As well as being an RACV service center, Bosch has also approached the business to join their 'worldwide' authorised repair center network, an offer which we proudly accepted. In continuing with their long term relationship with Castrol, Wurth, and the VACC the business is in connection and growing with some of the biggest automotive names in the country. The modern and efficient workshop is equipped with all the latest test and diagnostic equipment available, the mechanics are fully qualified and continually trained to work on all aspects of today's motor vehicles.
